Pay Report Terms
Terms and conditions for the Pay Comparison Report.
1. About the report
The Pay Comparison Report (the Report) is a free tool provided by Blackbrook Partners Limited (Blackbrook, we, us) to give a general indication of how pay compares with the market.
By using the tool you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the tool.
2. How the Report is produced
The Report is generated automatically from Blackbrook's proprietary market data, gathered through confidential conversations with market participants and anonymised. No individual's pay is disclosed.
Figures reflect front office roles based in London, recorded between 2024 and 2026. Pay in other locations, firms, strategies and roles may differ materially.
The tool relies on the information you enter. It may misinterpret your job title, level, asset class, location or experience, and any such misinterpretation can lead to an inaccurate result.
Carry, co investment, deferred pay and other long term incentives are not included.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
The Report is provided as is. It may contain errors or omissions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or timeliness of the Report or the data behind it.
Market data changes over time and the Report may not reflect current pay at any particular firm.
4. Not advice or an offer
The Report is a general guide only. It is not financial, legal, tax or employment advice, and it is not an offer of employment or a statement of what any employer would or should pay you.
You should not rely on the Report when making decisions about your employment, pay or career, including in any negotiation with a current or future employer.
Any suggested next steps are general observations and may not be suitable or achievable in your circumstances.
5. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blackbrook accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the Report or the tool.
These terms apply to the fullest extent permitted.
6. Use of the Report and our data
The Report and the data behind it are confidential and are the intellectual property of Blackbrook.
The Report is for your personal use only. It may not be copied, reproduced, published or shared, and it may not be used by any company, employer or third party, including for pay setting, benchmarking or negotiation, without our prior written consent.
7. The information you submit
When you use the tool, the details you enter (including your name, email, firm, title, level, experience, location and pay) are sent to Blackbrook.
We treat this information in strict confidence. We may review it and, where we consider it accurate, add it in anonymised form to our market data. We may also contact you about relevant opportunities.
We will not share your personal information with your employer or any other firm without your agreement. Our privacy notice explains how we hold and use personal data and your rights, including how to ask us to delete it.
8. General
We may change or withdraw the tool or these terms at any time.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
